”Y” = A “Y” is used for a course that has been approved to extend past one term. A “Y” is not calculated into the student's GPA. A “Y” is subject to lapsing (“ED”) for certain careers.
A “Y” grade is used for courses in which the instructor assigns only grades of “Y” or “E.” If a course utilizes only the letter grades of A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, D, and E, but an individual student receives permission to take the course for pass/fail credit, the “P” (pass) or “E” (fail) grade should be assigned to ...
An 'IN' grade means your grade is incomplete. If your Course Coordinator has given you an extension of time to complete your course on compassionate or academic grounds, you may receive an 'IN' grade until you complete your course.
A numeric score was not entered for the assignment. Applies only to assignments with manually entered or uploaded scores. ND.
To receive the grade of P, the student must be doing work comparable to a D or better. If a course is taken under the pass/fail option, the grade of P or F will be permanently recorded. If the course is passed, the units of credit will be applied toward graduation. Pass/fail grades are NOT included in the GPA.
On the official transcript the assigned grade will show, with no unit credit, but on the internal transcript the grade for the course will show as 'NC'. NG | No Grade: A placeholder notation that is used when an instructor does not have a student's course grade ready at the time of grade submission.
These codes mean the following: E = The course attempt is excluded from GPA (grade point average) calculation. A = The course attempt is included in GPA calculation. I = The course attempt is included in GPA and earned hours' calculation.
Interpreting Your Lane Transcript Quality Points: What schools used to calculate your GPA, the number of credits taken times the points for the grade. Each letter is worth a certain amount of points per credit.
This designation of “No Report” is given at the end of the semester to courses only when no other grade has been reported. This grade is not included in a student's GPA calculations. ... The NR grade is recorded by the Registrar's Office when an instructor has not reported a grade for a student.
WC means Withdrawn due to unit cancellation. WC will be indicated next to the unit on studentConnect if you have been withdrawn from a unit because the unit has been cancelled. The unit will not show on your Statement of Academic Record (transcript).
