What do you like best?
Changing things (like dates) on insurance forms helps us a great deal when the insurance information stays the same and only the date needs changed. (Accord forms). We don't have to completely retype an insurance renewal form. So Handy

I have helped a colleague in inputting his information on flyers that had someone else's and the eraser showed lines in the final product. I had to figure out what was going on and I figured out I could increase the eraser to remove items rather than going over it several times (like wite-out tape).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to make changes to documents that you do not want to retype over and over again, then this product is a handy tool. Also, for doing 'already-made-up-flyers' to use for yourself by adding your own information is great. I used to have to remake everything with Corel Draw. This is waaaaaaay easier!!

I like that all certificates on Insurance are in the same place, easy to find and I like the ability to duplicate certs

How do I file a WARN notice?
To file a WARN notice, email eddwarnnotice@edd.ca.gov. With the email, provide the following: The notification (as an attachment or within the body of the email) and contact information in the event that more information is needed.
What is required in a WARN notice?
The California Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (the “WARN” Act), Labor Code 1400 – 1408 LC, requires employers to provide sixty (60) days' advance notice to employees and certain government entities before conducting any of the following: A mass layoff. A relocation. Or. A termination (plant closure).
What does the WARN Act require?
The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988 (the “WARN Act”) is a US labor law which protects employees, their families, and communities by requiring most employers with 100 or more employees to provide 60 calendar-day advance notification of plant closings and mass layoffs of employees, as defined in
What triggers the WARN Act?
There are three events that may trigger the need for your employer to give you notice under the WARN Act: plant closings, mass layoffs, or. when 500 or more employees are laid off at a single site of employment.
What are warned letters?
Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Information for Employers. The California WARN Act requires covered employers to provide advance notice to employees affected by plant closings and mass layoffs.
Do employers have to give notice of layoff?
California and federal WARN laws give employees the right to notice of a layoff. However, employees do have the right to a certain amount of notice before a plant closing or large-scale layoff. If the employer fails to give proper notice, employees are entitled to damages.
How can I legally lay off an employee?
Large-scale layoffs require 60 days notice. Inform impacted workers if the layoff is permanent or temporary. If temporary, give dates as to the duration of the event. Notify employees of their expected separation date. Clearly explain the recall process.
Can an employer lay you off for no reason?
According to the National Conference of State Legislatures: At-will means that an employer can terminate an employee at any time for any reason, except an illegal one, or for no reason without incurring legal liability.
