What do you like best?
I have been using PDFfiler for more than 4 years. It makes my pdf documents look professional. There is no longer a need to print a doc, fill it in with pen, scan, and send. PDFfiler reduces the amount of steps I have to take to get the job done. It helps to also have everything saved on the My Docs page. I can find the same tax documents I need month after month. PDFfiler also reduces the amount of paper needed to generate a document. I probably use PDFfiler every day.
What do you dislike?
I would like to be able to turn off the assisted pop-ups. They can obstruct the box I want to enter text.

I liked being able to create customizable fillable forms for our company. Overall, it is easy to use and responsive. PDF filler is great for a digital signature and saves your previous signature for efficiency.

How do I calculate my transcripts per million?
Divide the read counts by the length of each gene in kilobases. Count up all the RPK values in a sample and divide this number by 1,000,000.
What is RPM value?
RPM stands for Reads Per Kilobase of transcript per Million mapped reads. FFKM stands for Fragments Per Kilobase of transcript per Million mapped reads. In RNA-Seq, the relative expression of a transcript is proportional to the number of CDA fragments that originate from it.
How do you calculate RPM?
Count up the total reads in a sample and divide that number by 1,000,000 this is our per million scaling factors. Divide the read counts by the per million scaling factors. Divide the RPM values by the length of the gene, in kilobases.
What does RPM stand for?
It used to be when you did RNA-seq, you reported your results in RPM (Reads Per Kilobase A Million) or FFKM (Fragments Per Kilobase A Million). However, TPM (Transcripts Per Kilobase A Million) is now becoming quite popular.
How are counts per million calculated?
Divide the read counts by the length of each gene in kilobases. This gives you reads per kilobase (RPK). Count up all the RPK values in a sample and divide this number by 1,000,000. This is your per million scaling factors.
How do you normalize a count?
Normalize the reads by the length of feature, it generates reads per kilobase. Sum up all the RPK sf in a sample. Generate a scaling factor for each sample by normalizing the PARK of the sample to the sum PARK of all the samples. Divide raw reads by the scaling factor to get TPM.
What is TPM value?
Transcripts Per A Million (TPM) is a normalization method for RNA-seq, should be read as “for every 1,000,000 RNA molecules in the RNA-seq sample, x came from this gene/transcript.”
