ease of use could be a little better The signature feature is wonderful. Tabbing around the form is easy. It makes signing documents very convenient instead of having to print them out and sign and fax or send back. It seems like each time I try to do something new, it costs extra. Example is signatures. Only holds 3 signatures.

How do digital signatures work? When a signer electronically signs a document, the signature is created using the signer's private key, which is always securely kept by the signer. The mathematical algorithm acts like a cipher, creating data matching the signed document, called a hash, and encrypting that data.
Click the “File” tab and select “Info.” A dialog box will appear. Select “Permissions” and click “Protect Document.” You will have the option to mark the document as final, add a digital signature (if you haven't already done so), restrict editing, encrypt with a password and restrict permission to certain people.
Problem: When opening a PDF file containing a digital signature in PDF Converter Professional that was created from a self-signed certificate on another system, the digital signature may display a “Validity Unknown” or “Signature not verified!” message.
The problem is most probably that this is a faulty PDF created by someone who made an error, or does not understand how to make them correctly. The person who generated the PDF on Windows used a method which did not embed the fonts from the source document into the PDF.
