VERY GOOD PRODUCT. WISH IT HAD "ADD/SUBTRACT" FUNCTIONS, WHICH WOULD PRECLUDE THE NEED FOR DOING SO MANUALLY AND THEN INSERTING TOTALS/SUBTOTALS MANUALLY.

Definitely works. Not sure if there is a way to make figures line up just a little better or have calculated fields, but definitely better than just using adobe acrobat

User Access and Security Unlike spreadsheets, modern relational databases are designed for multiple users. For circumstances that require many users to share information, add new data, and/or make changes to data, a spreadsheet is a bad choice. Databases are ideal for sharing and collaboration of information.
A spreadsheet stores data values in cells, with multiple cells represented in a system of rows and columns. Cells can refer to other cells, and the spreadsheet can include cells that carry out processing on other cell values. A database typically stores data values in tables.
In a spreadsheet, data can be stored in a cell, while in a database, data is stored in a record of a table, meaning you must count the records in a table to express how long the data table is, not the number of the cells.
Excel is a great spreadsheet application but, it`s not really a database at all. Excel however is an excellent complement to any database since it can turn row after row of data into attractive and comprehensive reports and charts.
Excel like a relational database has concepts like rows and columns although in the relational databases rows are commonly referred to as records. ... Relational database are designed around set theory and predicate logic whereas spreadsheets have no underlying built-in design (except for the row/column framework).
In an ideal world, databases should be used for its ability to organize and displays rafts of data in a structured manner, to run complex queries with multiple fields, to generate specific reports. And spreadsheets should be used for its advanced mathematical calculations and statistical comparisons to analyze data.
Databases are also better at the enormous amount of records that can be processed. Databases work with a wide variety of programming languages much easier than Excel. Excel can be coded by VBA but may not have extensive object exposure to some languages. Databases have a more robust set of features for handling data.
A spreadsheet is a computer software that simulates a paper worksheet. We use it to tabulate data and create graphs based on the data. A database is a collection of related data that can be accessed quickly. A database is meant to hold a large amount of data and some databases routinely do.
Databases can store very large numbers of records efficiently (they take up little space). It is very quick and easy to find information. It is easy to add new data and to edit or delete old data. Data can be searched easily, e.g. 'find all Ford cars'.
