PDFfiler allowed me to create a far superior MO Real Estate Disclosure form. Are Highlights supposed to be stripey?
those are not highlights, they are streaks. Highlights say it in the name (they highlight the hair, making it look more tone on tone.). If you were looking more into a tone on tone, I would suggest you calling back your stylist and explaining that you are not happy with the result afters it's been washed.
What causes stripey highlights?
Actually stripey highlights usually come down to a technique thing. Often resulting from the coloring of ginormous chunky slices of hair either because of inexperience or haste. That or poor foil placement.
Do highlights blend over time?
Highlights do take time to blend in though. Always look better a good fortnight or so after they have been put in.
How do I make my highlights look natural?
First Consider Skin tone. Much like choosing the jewelry that best complements your complexion, adding the right highlights is all about differentiating between warm and cool undertones. Then Assess Your Base Shade. Next Look at Your Eye Color. Make Sure You're Not Doing This. Go Pro.
