There are some things that could be more user-friendly or convenient but overall it is very effective and useful as a tool for creating and modifying documents. The "preview document" is never accurate, and the ink looks faded after it is scanned in as a template.

How do I print high quality JPEGs?
Here are some guidelines for getting the best quality prints from your photos: Start with the right size and shape. Understand DPI and PPI. Get a 300 DPI file. Apply some Sharpening. Download as a PNG + print. Check the DPI before you print.
Which image file size is better for printing?
Professional/online printing For a 4" x 6" print, the image resolution should be 640 x 480 pixels minimum. For a 5" x 7" print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum. For an 8" x 10" print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum.
What are the best settings for printing photos?
As a rule of thumb, to achieve photo quality print, you will need to use an image resolution of 300 pixels per inch. We write this as 300 DPI and means that in each inch of your print there will be 300 pixels.
