Absentee Ballot Forms: In the event of a vacancy and more than 180 days have passed from the date of the preceding appointment of the candidate, another form of certificate may be used until the election of the person elected. A certificate obtained must be filed with the clerk only on or before the final day for the filing of candidates or the filing of ballots. INSTRUCTIONS: Fill out the form in pencil, on the space provided for the candidate's name, and seal it in the top right-hand corner of the form. Filing and Paying the Fees for an Office.
