There is a common theme to these common failures, and it's called integration problems. Integration problems have a negative impact on our IT and its ability to deliver timely and accurate tax returns. The IRS needs to know we are aware of any issues we face. We need to discuss the steps we are taking to improve our integration processes. Participants will also discuss issues such as the IRS's IT strategy for the new fiscal year; IT issues that the IRS has identified; and the results of the IRS IT performance assessment done in March 2008. 1.0 Goals 1.1 The goals for this meeting are to Identify any integration problems within the IRS. Discuss any solutions the IRS could implement to deal with these issues. Identify any risks to taxpayers. Identify and eliminate duplication in the IRS's IT systems. 2.0 Attendees The IRS will be represented by the following IRS employees.
