However, he was unable to tolerate the regimen and decreased his daily dosage to about 20 mg (from 100 mg) until September 2008. He was prescribed a cyclosporine-cyclophosphamide combination (3TC) to reduce the recurrence of tumor. During his first week of treatment, the patient began to experience symptoms of fever, fatigue, muscle weakness, and chills, but symptoms decreased immediately. In November 2008, the patient was transferred to the dermatologist for a skin biopsy. A skin biopsy was negative for Melanoma Multiform, melanomas in situ, metastasis, and the presence of lymphadenopathy and/or metastases. However, after treatment with a 3TC, a 2-mm malignant melanoma that had been initially diagnosed as an Epithelial Tumorigenesis (ET-E) was discovered with large amounts of tumor cells, leading to biopsy to remove the primary tumor and tumor stem cells. In this study, we describe the case of a 40-year-old man who was found to have a melanoma known as an Invasive Epithelial Tumorigenesis. We also describe the biopsy results that led to his diagnosis of Melanoma Multiform. Melanoma is the most common malignant skin cancer in the United States causing about 30,000 deaths per year (1). Approximately 2,300 new cases of melanoma are diagnosed each year (2). There is increased incidence of melanoma among black women compared with white women (3). Women have a higher mortality than do men, but this is not completely understood (4). Melanoma was ranked as the 9th most common cancer among all Americans in 2001–2003, but this number has decreased to 10% of cancer deaths in 2016 (5). Melanoma and Tumor Sparing T cell clones are essential to the development of melanoma and the development of the melanoma metastasis.
