The scholarship can only be awarded at the discretion of the department at which the student is registered. A representative check for 250 will be issued to the student's account when this form is returned to us. Awards The awards are given out for: 1. One semester of full time courses in humanities, social science, and/or physical sciences. 2. Two or more semester courses in these fields. 3. The first semester of any undergraduate degree program offered by Arcadia University, which includes the Bachelor of Arts programs as well as other degree programs offered by the University. 4. Any student completing at least 18 credits of courses at Arcadia University in any of the following types of studies: social science, humanities, health, arts, or history. 5. A student receiving a B.S. (honor) degree in the health, humanities, or arts program at Arcadia University or a B.A. (honor) degree in the health, humanities, or physical sciences program at Arcadia University. The 500.00 will be divided by the number of course(s) and awarded in the following manner: The following award dates are not to be combined with the Summer, Fall, or Spring scholarship awards: Winter, Spring January 2, February 13, April 15, May 12, August 16, September 13, December 14, February 17, February 27, April 29, May 31, June 8, July 9, August 22, November 24, December 17, January 25, February 28, May 31, July 7, August 8, September 19, November 28, December 4, January 26, May 10, August 19, November 28, December 1, January 12, February 11, May 5, September 8, October 1, Students can be awarded more than one award at once, but may only be awarded in increments of 500. The total award amount that can be received is four times the 500, regardless of whether the student has received more than one award or not.
