Employees must make a nomination of at least one employee. This nomination form must be received by April 25, 2017. The award will be presented to recipients in a dinner and awards reception hosted by USU Student Life on May 6, 2017. Award recipients and all presenters will be recognized at the awards' ceremony at The Statesman in downtown Salt Lake City. Click here for more information on the award. This wellness program focuses on improving the health of all students by providing peer support, exercise and nutritious snacks. The program provides health coaching to students on how they can improve their wellness and manage chronic health conditions. USU and BYU students are especially at-risk due to their higher rates of asthma, eating disorders, obesity, mental illness, and other chronic health issues. The Student Wellness Program at Utah State University is part of the Utah State University Student Health Center which is part of the University of Utah Health System. The Student Wellness program was established in 2007 as a direct student-driven initiative by then-UT student, Michelle Masseter to improve the health of Utah State University student. To nominate a student, click here.  Nominations for USU Student Fitness Coaches The USU Student Fitness Coaches program at Utah State University is an opportunity for students of all sports teams at Utah State University to develop a unique and supportive peer relationship, develop a healthy lifestyle, and be a team-building member in order to meet the fitness needs of their team. The USU Student Fitness Coaches program is an annual award program and provides the opportunity for Utah State University athletes and teams to recognize the contributions of their coaches.
