Students must submit a completed application for admission into their community college and must reside in the Mohawk Valley area and may not be a U.S. citizen. Eligibility is based on need and financial need. No application, paperwork or other forms are required. Scholarship sponsors are responsible for providing all necessary information to the students for the review of the annual application. Scholarship sponsors must be from families that have been in existence at least five years before the start of the awards. Eligibility and the decision of the scholarships is final. Scholarship winners reside in their community college. A maximum of 10 students will be given the scholarship. Scholarship application deadline for the year is May 1. If eligible, the scholarship winner(s) will be contacted by campus counselors. (Award winners may not be transferred to another school's campus.)
