High School Class Year: SF Scholarships The SF Scholarship is a merit-based award for full-time undergraduate students who are majoring in science, applied mathematics and related fields. The scholarship is available for all students who have applied for, or are registered in SF courses, including majors and concentrations. As a senior in high school, you may also be eligible for 5,000 in additional scholarships. SF also provides students a wide variety of support during the academic and post-academic years and a variety of financial assistance for college expenses. Application/ Scholarship Criteria SF students must: have a 3.00 average on their ACT or SAT score report your full name and high school grade point average (GPA), ACT/SEES scores and school year on your WSU application and scholarship application. No more than 3 courses may be listed on the application/scholarship. Students may be eligible for up to three awards of up to 5,000. If the SF application or scholarship is successful, students are awarded the award according to your highest average award or a combination of any two of the lowest awarded awards you have received. If you're not an SF student, visit the WSU website for additional information regarding applications for scholarships for full or part-time SF students. You don't have to be in SF to be a WSU freshman or sophomore. The following criteria must be met to qualify for the SF Scholarship, unless the criteria have been changed and your GPA indicates you meet the previous criteria. For a better understanding of the requirements to be awarded the SF Scholarship and the application process, please refer to the WSU Application Instructions page and the SF Student Agreement. General Requirements SF applicants must fulfill the general admissions criteria for the WSU. Applicants must meet the following general requirements: (a) Have at least a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) as a general student or have passed a WSU standardized test score requirement and meet other admission requirements. (b) Be currently enrolled in a regular class at WSU for the fall or spring semester of your junior year.
