Once applicants select a course, they will receive an invitation from the University Registrar, the University Registrar website will be reviewed, approval email will be sent to University Registrar and the full admission process will be initiated. If applications are undeliverable or not received by the deadline: If you have not received an invitation to a course, and we are unable to contact you, students have a number of options: Submit the application late (30 days is typical) and it will be accepted until application deadline. Report the issue to Human Resources. Ask your instructor to resend the application, which will then be rejected. File a grievance against the University Registrar for failure to mail the invitation. Note: If a student has already made a request for an invitation to a course via this application, and the application was undeliverable or rejected, the student is responsible for making necessary arrangements to re-apply for admission. If we receive a denial: Upon review of the application, our goal is to find the students that are most likely to enroll in the courses. We will review the application carefully to determine eligibility for consideration. Once we have determined eligibility, we will contact the student to invite the applicant to a course. All the above actions can be accomplished through the University Registrar's website. An acceptance letter, will be sent to applicants after a determination of eligibility has been made. Applicants should anticipate delay of the entire admissions process because processing and reviewing applications takes time on our end. If we receive a rejection: The rejection notice will be sent directly to the applicant, and will indicate the reasons for rejection. If the student fails the admission requirements, they may appeal the decision, using the procedures outlined in our Handbook of Academic and Student Conduct Guidelines. For example, we may ask the student to write a letter of support, provide additional documentation, explain the circumstances or demonstrate personal or extenuating circumstances beyond the control of the student.
