The application: Award Scholarship Application Requirements Applicants must be graduating from high school seniors enrolled full time at an accredited institution of higher learning. Applicants must be a resident of the district and be at least 18 years old. Applicants must be the recipient of a Rotary/Retract District 5280 Meredith K. Olson Scholarship by December 31, 2012. We will accept the first scholarship winner in early March 2013! Scholarship amount is 1,200. If the 1,200 does not cover your full tuition to an accredited institution of higher learning for the Fall 2012 semester, we will allow a 50 late payment penalty (which will be credited toward the current year tuition) to be applied to the scholarship. A late fee of 15% will be added to your application for late payments. Applications must be received by December 31, 2012. The Award is given to the first 2 winners of the annual award, but the winner will be announced in February of that year.
