An updated, easy-to-use online document search system allows easy access to all Legislative Assembly documents. These records include: Minutes of the Assembly, Bills, debates and votes, motions and debates, and legislation. It also includes the most recently enacted laws and orders, as well as provincial legislation and executive orders. All Legislative Assembly proceedings including all reports of the Assembly are posted on the Internet on our website. We try to have all orders published in their entirety. The Clerk keeps a log of printed orders posted on the Internet. Orders with a date and time of receipt are made available to members upon request. These are sent to the members to read the orders and decide what action they have to take, what procedural measures are to be taken, and when each order will be enforced or modified. Orders are printed on paper by the Clerk and distributed as PDF files to all members and their assistants. Documents and minutes of the Legislative Assembly not posted on our website may be viewed in a locked room when not in use by our researchers and technical staff. If this is the case, please contact the Clerk for information. For copies of minutes as well as documents to be used in presentations, please contact the Information and Service Coordinator. Official Reports of Debates (Mansard), for all daily sitting of the Legislative Association of Ontario, are produced by the Clerk upon the request of any member of the Legislative Assembly. To view these files, send the information to the Clerk by postal mail at: Chief Clerk, Legislative Assembly, 635 Bloor Street West, 4th Floor, Toronto ON Canada M5G-2Z8. Official Reports of Debates are produced quarterly; they are provided to members and their assistants after the sitting of each annual Legislative Assembly. All information on these reports must be sent by mail to the Legislative Assembly, no later than June 30 of each year. The Clerk's name on the report must be clearly visible on the front cover. If the Clerk is unavailable to produce an official report of Debates, it will be prepared by administrative staff, using information from the members at the end of July. All reports and notes must be received within three (3) days of the beginning of the Quarterly Meeting of Legislative Assembly. Official Reports of General Committees of the Legislative Assembly are produced by the Clerk upon the request of any member of the Legislative Assembly.
