Fairview Eagles Outpatient Physical Therapy Mid-School Outpatient Physical Therapy is for students from Grade 5-11 who are medically classified as having a physical impairment or who are in need of ongoing care. The school offers the first year of treatment for students aged 5-18 who have medical conditions that are medically classified as having a physical impairment. The program is geared to assist students who have physical education, physical therapy and related medical needs during the school year. Students will receive care on a part-time basis, focusing on a variety of therapeutic techniques and methods for various physical activities. Upon successful completion of the first year of treatment, students may be eligible to graduate to a career at Fairview! Field Sports Academy Physical Education Field Sports Academy provides Physical Education for all Fields Level 4, 6, 7 and 8 students in the Spring, Summer and Fall and offers after school programs during the spring and summer. We provide a variety of physical activities, such as volleyball and lacrosse, and provide access to equipment like a soccer helmet, baseball gloves, soccer balls, rugby gloves, football helmets, hockey helmets, lacrosse helmets and many others. Football Coaches Academy The Football Coaches Academy Program is available from 8:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 7:00-4:00 p.m. on Sundays. The FCA program is designed to create responsible and confident coaches of the FCA team and the program includes: Team-building and game planning/strategy. Developing classroom and work setting Team and student leadership Equipment use and maintenance Student performance testing Team performance evaluation Coaching the team in the FCA league Coach development program Professional development opportunities The FCA program emphasizes learning and teaching at the highest level. The coaches attend our 5-week orientation during week 4 – 6 and then go through the 8 weekly lessons during week 7 – 10 of the FCA program. Upon successful completion of the first 4 weeks of the program, the coach also goes through an additional 3 weeks on-the-job training. The FCA program culminates in a team victory at the FCA championships on Feb. 2, 2014. Frisco High School Athletic Training The Frisco High School Athletic Training School serves grades 7 – 11. Our training program is designed for physical activity, physical fitness and sport preparation to enhance academic performance.
