K. T. Time, President of TRUCK's Alumni Association also leads the LT CAA Class XIII Leadership Board. “Tracey and I met by chance when both are involved in other organizations, and we worked together as members of one such organization for about 25 years. After this organization we worked together just about continuously in other organizations, and we met again in 1987 at LT Trinities. Tracey and I both graduated from LT, and we became very involved in and became alumni of the Alumni Association. At one point we both worked with a national organization that provided scholarships to young alumni. We never had that conversation again. I was very glad to be put in the position of having a leadership position. LTC Alumni Association is a group of people that I care about, and I am honored to be a part of it. It is a tremendous honor for the LT community,” laughs Tracey. “Tracey has a lot of experience in helping and guiding other people through the same process with Thumb Foundation. I personally work with Thumb Foundation. The alumni Association has been very instrumental in helping people through the Thumb Foundation Scholarship Program. It was an honor to work with Thumb Foundation for the past three years. I have had the opportunity to work with and connect the alumni association to the alumni foundation. It has just been a great group of people. “I hope one day Thumb Foundation can get involved in helping with LTC. I also think it is a great organization,” added Tracey. The Class XIII Leadership Board meets several times a month. The members of the Board can help other students, alumni and the community through their work. The goal of the leadership board is to keep the group together and to connect the alumni leadership with the alumni service. “We meet and help each other when the time is right, and we need help with something. If one member on the board were to be ill it would not affect the whole group. A good example of this is when a person has come to me on his own in his problem with his class, I am able to help them and work with an alumni service person to resolve the problem and help the student,” explains Tracey.
