No information, not otherwise furnished by a taxing district or their agent, may be used for any purpose other than that for which it was furnished. The city may not make any claims on the assessed property for an obligation incurred by the agent or, if the property is located in another taxing district, that the assessed property is not within any authorized tax districts. Assessment of a property for which an assessment is due may not be paid to any person other than to the person to whom the assessment is due, unless the city has authorized the payment to a person other than the person who is to be paid the assessment. In the event of an audit by the city, any tax levied on the assessed property, other than a credit (deduction) for the use that the city has determined to be in the best interest of this city, shall be repaid to the person from whom the city received the assessment. The taxing districts to which the agent may be assigned can be as varied as they might desire. All agents will have an assigned tax district. The assignment may be changed upon recommendation of the city. Taxing districts can assign any agent at any time at their sole option, but will notify the agent in writing of the specific assignment prior to the assignment and the date upon which the agent will be assigned. Assignment terms can be up to six months in duration. All agents will be informed of the assigned status prior to being assigned. All information provided as part of the evaluation is considered private information and may not be distributed to anyone other than the city for any purpose other than that for which the information was provided.
