The Exhibition, as well as running for nine exhibition months a year, will be an opportunity for the public to view, at prices ranging from free, up to, and including, one full-priced item from the Artists' sale section. The Exhibition is an integral part of the Grace field's International Festival, which is taking place in Humphries South West Scotland from 30 November to 11 February 2005. The 5th British International Miniature Print Exhibition is organized by the Grace field Arts Center, in Humphries South West Scotland. G. Field, the Artistic Director of the Arts Center, has long-established the importance of artists and prints in developing Scottish culture. The exhibition is supported through the support of the Arts Council in the West of Scotland. The exhibition was presented, in the main by the Grace field Council, a partnership for the benefit of Scotland and Scotland's image in the wider world. The Exhibition will be held in the Arts Center, in Humphries South West Scotland. The AC is delighted that these two councils are working together again in order to promote a spirit of harmony amongst all its members. The AC, in close collaboration with the Grace field Council, will present this exhibition with the keenest interest, and will seek co-operation in the running of our exhibition with the Grace field Council in a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation. The aim is to present Scotland as a leading country in this particular art form. The artwork featured will be limited to a set number of items each showing the work of at least one artist. The Artistic Directors of Grace field Council, Michael Dickson-Mordi and Ian Waugh will each have one selected print per month displayed in the exhibition, as will the Grace field Council's own artists in the Artists section of the exhibition. The exhibition will give the public a chance to encounter the work of a number of talented artists, on an international platform where they will be able to see how much interest there is in making these prints today and in their future, as a vital component of the Scottish arts scene.
