All registered participants will be able to race at the Marina in addition to the Singapore River area where the Singapore International Running (SIR)-Urbanathlon is based. The event is run by a professional organizing committee, the Singapore Runners Club (SRC), made up of an eclectic mix, including: The Singapore Marathon Association, SRA-AMAC (Singapore Marathon Association), The Single track Runners and PSC (Singapore Track & Field Club), and the SRA-AMAC (Singapore Marathon Association) Local Sports Council (LSC), Sport Singapore and the Singapore Marathon Association as local runners. The race will involve teams and individual athletes from all over the world of running: A total of 50 athletes will compete over the course of 4 days. Singapore is one of only two cities to host a marathon and a marathon half-marathon, as well as a five-stage ultramarathon.
