I, Steve Smith, Councilman-at-Large, Div. II, Mary Wiley, Councilwoman, Dana Jones, Councilwoman, Toni Smith, Councilwoman, Michael D. Young, Clerk, and John Taylor.  The Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Aston Lewis, who provided opening remarks, stated: Thank you, all of you. I am so excited to get ready to begin.  I know that there are going to be a lot of people in here tonight.  For whatever reason, you have come because of a number of different reasons, but we will see if we can make this a productive meeting.  Let me go over a few highlights of the last 10 years here in The Joel Ectopy, which are things I would like you guys to know: 2008 – We built a new parish hall and a beautiful new building, with a great auditorium, a restaurant area, and some amazing views.  2009 – We brought in three new parish leaders; Jim Smith, Mark Taylor, and Toni Smith, who have all done a great job.  2011 — The new hall is in great shape, the new building is beautiful, and the parish is thriving.  2012 – We had another great year! We have three new full-time parishes that are working very well; St. Peter's, St. Francis of Assisi, and St. John the Baptist. We have a new St. Patrick's Parish, and this year, we are adding a Parish Hall, which is going to be the most beautiful hall in the state.  2013 — Our biggest gift this year is the building of the new St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Hall, a beautiful chapel, as well as renovations to the parish hall at St. John's.  We have over 25 new or recently renovated parishes, so we really are on a roll with building.  2014 – We had a great year with renovations at St. Mary's, a new parish church, renovation of the old school and office building, and building renovations and new parish church, the new St. Mary's, and a new Parish Hall.  We have added a new preschool, a new nursery, and have new playground equipment and many other improvements.  So thank you for your patience with us. Now, let's get started, as we are about to get to work.
