These activities are carried out with expertise gained over many years from various scientific bodies and government agencies. The Director's office of the Institute for the Protection and Security of Citizens of the Union The President of the European Cybersecurity Initiative The Centre-Nationale d'Études Specialists (CESI) is the leading national cyber security center based in France, with more than 200 experts. CESI offers courses on cybercrime and information security. CESI has been working intensively with the Government of the European Union for the past seven years and continues to do so. At a European level, this contribution is made by a Network Development Institute with a mission of working in close collaboration with the European Commission and with the national government of the member state concerned. With the support of the CESI, the Network Development Institute has developed various projects aimed at strengthening the security of the electronic networks in the Member States.
