All appeals are considered and decisions are made with no appeals permitted at the last meeting held during which the decision was made. At the meeting all interested persons (i.e., individuals and organizations) are given the opportunity to make written comments on the decision to the members of the association by the chair (no appeals permitted) and the two members of the Executive Committee (no appeals permitted). Appeal procedures are set out in the General Policy on Appeals. MSSA Members may become involved in other business through member-to-member correspondence. Each MSSA Member has the right to use their membership in any manner they deem appropriate as long as they submit their letter as soon as possible after having had the chance to speak at the last meeting of the current Member's membership. This procedure also is applicable to those who wish to become associated with the association by becoming a member in a business form for a specific term, or when the term can be extended for an additional term. MSSA General Membership Application Members may apply to be a member by completing the form found on page 8 of the General Membership Application. Membership in the National Union of Public Service Employee Associations is on a dues' basis. An application fee is 50.00; this is a one-time fee payable when your membership is approved.
