The following materials are required before the school may be opened with the purchase of a new facility: School Building Contract for 100,000 to 150,000 Fee to the City of McAllen for the purchase of the school; such fee to be paid from the General Fund of the City of McAllen 30,000.00 for costs of purchasing, erecting, furnishing, equipping, providing service and repairing school buildings; provided if the Building Department is able to provide this material for less than these costs, the Building Department may elect to replace the materials to the school building at a lower amount than that which will be charged this year for the purchase of said building, at a ratio of 1:10 (1 portion for replacement of materials, and ten times the original price) For the building to be used exclusively for the district's K through 12 educational mission, there will be required the following: The Building Department must be in charge of the construction and equipment related to the school. The Building Department must have complete control of all work performed and should have personnel available through the opening of the school.
