Organizers The Far 40 European Fleet Association (F4FA) is organizing the Far 40 Circuit, this is one of its first regattas. 4th November 2007 the Far 40 Circuit was officially established by the CPR as a single entity with both a national and international committee working on coordination and promoting Far 40 worldwide. The Far 40 Circuit is also a member of the Far 40 Fleet Association. 1st September 2007 the Far 40 Fleet Association was formed representing the Far 40 Fleet, in coordination with the CPR. The Far 40 Fleet Association are responsible for the coordination of events and campaigns around the Far 40 activities. 2. The Far 40 European Fleet Association The Far 40 Fleet Association in conjunction with the CPR is managing the Far40 World Fleet, and organizing regattas around the world. In order to reach new Far 40 ships that may not be reachable from other ships of the Far 40 Fleet, they run a special Far 40 International Regatta called the Far 40 International Regatta (FAR). We are also responsible for organizing several Far 40 Events, and Far 40 events across other countries. 2nd September 2008 the Far 40 Fleet Association was divided into a domestic and international committee. 1st March 2009 the Far 40 Fleet Association was officially dissolved, with the Far 40 World Fleet becoming an independent organization. The Far 40 International Regatta (FAR) is now the main event of Far 40, and a central source of information for sailors in the Far 40 Fleet. The Far 40 International Regatta (FAR) is an internationally organized regatta that features boats from all parts of the world. The Far 40 FAR is organized by the Far 40 International Regatta Association (F4FA), under the auspices of the International Far 40 Federation. As such, participants may participate either by making a direct entry into the Far 40 FAR, or by joining the various Far 40 Associations. 1st January 2010 the Far 40 FAR opened to all the world to organize the International Far 40 Regatta (FAR 2008) for sailors, friends and members of the Far 40 Fleet, worldwide. All entrants to the Far 40 FAR must be registered with the F4FA and agree to abide by all rules of the FAR. The Far 40 FAR is an international event, with boats from around the world. 2. The Far 40 World Fleet The world's biggest Far 40 fleet is the official fleet of the Far 40 Fleet Association and Far 40 International Regatta.
