Would like to know more about the LHS PSA and maybe volunteering: please contact me: The Lafayette-Lafayette High School PSA operates under the following Guidelines: · We are a non-profit organization founded in 2007 to educate students and faculty about AIDS. · Our goal is to raise money through donations to support the operation of the PSA and provide grants and scholarships to students and faculty for the costs incurred. · The LHS PSA raises funds through events like PSA races, bicycle races, and dance-offs. · Members are expected to raise money from themselves. · Our PSA meets on the first Friday of each month at 7:30 PM at Lafayette High School. · PSA members are invited to participate in our club. (Note: members are still responsible for their own insurance coverage. · All members MUST have valid student or faculty ID and valid cell phone. · Members are expected to raise money from their own personal sources and not from LHS. · In the event that a member does not have enough money to attend the PSA, they will then be required to pay the remainder of fees prior to the event. · Members should not solicit other members for donations. · Members are responsible for filing their own taxes. · The Lafayette PSA receives no funding from state or federal agencies. · The Lafayette-Lafayette High School PSA does not accept donations from a specific business or government. · The Lafayette-Lafayette High School PSA is NOT a PSA for your high school. · The Lafayette-Lafayette High School PSA is NOT a high school PSA. · The Lafayette PSA should not be confused with the student-run LHS PSA. · The Lafayette-Lafayette High School PSA will not have a fund drive. · We will not be conducting any fundraisers. · We encourage you to be considerate of our other members and the school community!
