The meter reads used in this proposal shall not be considered to be in conflict with the Meter Reading used in LIZ CSP CSA 03-15, and any meters utilized in any other CSC LIZ CSP shall be in compliance with the revised Meter Reading required for that CSP. The intent of the proposal is to accommodate the following meter reads at any point and to achieve the following: The flexibility to permit the use for CSP The Largest Supply Point reconciliation where the meter type is determined by the customer. The flexibility to allow additional readings if customer is unable to be located or if the customer is unable to be located at that required final CSP The Largest Supply Point. The flexibility to allow additional meters if the customer requires additional meters at non-CSP The Largest Supply Points for purposes of Energy Charge reconciliation. The flexibility for customers to be able to provide a non-Meter Reading for meters used at non-CSP The Largest supply points. The flexibility for an initial meter reading to be non-Meter Reading at CSP The Largest suppliers and non-Meter Reading at non-CSP The Largest customers. The flexibility to use the current “use of notional Meter Readings and Agreed Opening Meter Readings” approach for LIZ CSP CSA 03-15, and allow the use of a new approach that does not require the customer to provide meter readings for all potential meter readings provided the customer agrees to use that new approach. The current “use of notional Meter Readings and Agreed Opening Meter Readings” approach will be maintained as the meter reads are calculated in order to ensure that the “use of notional Meter Readings and Agreed Opening Meter Readings” approach is not used on customers that choose to provide meter readings for their meter read calculations, regardless of the final charging outcome. In addition, this proposal will provide the CSP with the flexibility to use “no meter readings” or a limited number of meters to ensure that an accurate account of fuel costs is calculated, and that all meter readings are considered.
