If a decision is taken to award funding on the basis of the project proposal(s) submitted in accordance with paragraph 2, the Commission will announce this decision by publishing it in the Official Journal of the European Union. The applicant/s shall be notified by electronic means or, if no notifications to the applicant have been received by the end of the deadline provided for in the second subparagraph, then by an announcement in the Official Journal of the European Union. If the application is rejected for any reason, the Agency shall send its reasons to the applicant within 10 working days of receiving the proposal(s). The Commission shall take an informed decision on the proposed project at the conclusion of the review period. The applicant shall have a period (or periods) within which it may lodge formal objections, complaints or representations with the Commission, and it shall notify the reasons within the same period. The Commission shall review these objections within 30 days of receipt to identify the concerns on which the objections or representations are based.
