We have a comprehensive set of measures to ensure our performance against our key priorities. In 2006, we signed a definitive agreement with the German state to operate GTB for five years from 1 August 2009 to March 2009. We have signed similar agreements with the UK and the Netherlands, and we have started negotiations to have a similar agreement in India. On 12 June 2007, we extended the agreement with the German state for another five years, to 31 December 2021, with one year extension. Under the extension, GTB will be able to carry on as a stand-alone company to the end of June 2019 and will retain a subsidiary to process electronic currency and to issue money orders, which is essential for our operations in Germany, France and the UK. Since the extension, we have been implementing our strategic plan and are progressing well. On the whole, GTB is making good progress each year, and we expect to be able to report our full financial results by 31 December 2008. The Company's financial results for 2007 include a significant charge related to litigation and other matters, including a charge of €37 million for litigation and associated costs; a non-cash accounting charge of €5 million for goodwill impairment; and a charge for the early extinguishment of debt in connection with the sale of our Swiss retail business, resulting from the bankruptcy of that business. In 2007, GTB's profitability increased to €0.9 billion. Our income from operations was €966 million, down from €1.3 billion in 2006. GTB reported a net loss of €16.8 million, or €0.11 per share in 2007 (€6.0 billion in 2006). Operating profit in 2007 was €1.0 billion, an increase of €2.1 million of revenue from €0.9 billion, which represented a 10.1% increase. GTB's turnover reached €1,099 million, which represented a growth of 11% of revenues, and increased in each category.
