Introduction Legal services regulation refers to the processes, procedures and processes by which a legal professional (i.e. solicitor, attorney, certified professional, member of a law society) is granted and maintains authority to practice law in Canada. Laws and standards of professional conduct have evolved to reflect the evolving needs of the legal profession.
