This fee is charged to nonresident anglers on their license. All persons with fishing permit must have the permit signed by an authorized AS MFC staff person at the time of purchase (except for residents of New Brunswick who do not need a permit). If one applies for a permit, one angler is allowed per permit and all other individuals are allowed as many anglers are in the boat. No person may be served two permits in one day. Permits are available on the internet at no charge to the applicant. No angler may be served more than two permits in a 24-hour period. Anglers who purchase their permit in advance will not be able to purchase permits in advance. Angler permit holders must carry and display the permit at all times during the entire fishing session, and may not remove the permit from the boat while fishing.
