A participant applying for funds must provide documentation that the applicant (or applicant's designee) has passed all required continuing education requirements and has completed the current version of all requirements for Emergency Management (EMT) certification. 4. All EMS Participant grants should be awarded as soon as possible after the end of the first grant cycle, to the most deserving participants who make the most significant investments during the first grant cycle. Applications should be received no later than May 15, 2018. If the proposed plan does not meet the applicable standards, the application may be terminated and an application may be submitted for a different grant cycle. 5. A maximum of 3 grant cycles may be funded annually; however, the Fund may fund an additional 2 grant cycles. Funding is provided only until December 31st of each grant cycle, and the funding period for new grants will not be extended. 6.
