Hello this is Michael Vulture man Dean of Student Services at West Los Angeles College And I'm here today to talk to you about how to order an official transcript So you're going to want to visit our webpage at WAC EDU, and you're going to click on admissions and then grades and transcripts and Then from there you'll see the steps to order a transcript First you can see the 3-step process to view grades or view your unofficial transcript through the Student Information System But if you'd like to order official transcripts You're going to take two steps The first and very Important step is to clear all your holds If you're not sure if you have holds on your account Or even if you think you don't have holds on your account I still recommend that you log into the student information system and clear all holds if there are any Once you know that you have no holds then you can go ahead and take step two and order your transcripts And that's through the National Student Clearing House So those are the steps if you want to order online it will take up to Ten business days to process and send your transcript So please allow at least two weeks for the institution to receive it and if you want to pay for rush processing it's an extra 10 fee for brush processing, and We can have the transcript sent within one business day if you'd prefer to order a transcript in person That's fine too you can come to visit us on our campus at West Los Angeles College on the second floor of the Student Services Building and Admissions and Records and you can come and order an official transcript in person About coming in person to order a transcript when you get in line in Admissions and Records if you have Is you've never ordered a transcript before you've only ordered one transcript your first two transcripts are free so if you want regular Processing you won't have to pay anything for a transcript However if you've already had your two free transcripts And you want regular processing there will be a three dollar fee, so the Office of Admissions will direct you to the business office You'll pay your 300 fee They'll send you back with the receipt to Admissions and Records And well go ahead and process your transcript if you want a brush Processing you'll pay a 10 fee at the business office And then you'll come back to Admissions and Records and well process your transcript in one business So that's the simple two-step process on how to order official transcripts Thank You
