The four semi-finalists with the largest flower arrangements receive the Iris Festival float ride on Saturday, May 26, 2012, for the finale, where the finalist with the biggest flower arrangement will win the award of most outstanding. The following awards are offered to runners-up: “Best Biggest In Show”

“Best Overall in Show” “Best in Show” and “Biggest in Show” winners receive gift bags and swag from Iris Festival. All participants are welcome, there is no judging in the pageant but only judging in the parade, where awards are presented. The Iris Festival is held in the summer months at Swan Lake Gardens, in the beautiful area known as the River of Roots on McCray's Mill Road. The Gardens are within walking distance of the park, where kids and parents can enjoy playing in the water, watching the dolphins and watching the butterflies. The parade begins at 10 am. Parking at Swan Lake Gardens is free, including admission and a complimentary shuttle service runs the two miles to the entrance of the Gardens each day and back again. The parade is preceded by a free concert by The Wackiest Witch, complete with a fire performance, and the “Swan Lake Theme,” accompanied by a local band.
