NPS Form 10-945 (Oct. 1990) OMB No. 10024-0 United States Department of the Interior National Park Service Registering of Historic Properties Registering of Historic Property. Form, in conjunction with NPS Form 10-90 and other documents related to historic properties, that relate to the property for this listing (registration form for NPS properties; form for individual properties; form for districts). This document is used as a notification of historical significance for buildings and structures. The forms are: Form 6A(2), National Register of Historic Places Land marking and Designation Statement, or. Form 955, Historic Place, or Form 10-1. The application for listing on the National Register of Historic Places is made by submitting a completed application and fee to the appropriate Area Office. See the Historic Places sections of this publication for more information on listing criteria and application requirements. Form 3.7 includes information on listing criteria for proposed additions to current properties and for new buildings and structures as determined by OMB regulations and decisions. For the complete list of criteria, see form 3.1. Form 3.6 contains additional requirements for the preparation of the Historical Marker(s) for a proposed addition, in addition to the additional listing criteria for new buildings, structures, and historic areas: Form 6A(2) (for proposed additions to historical properties) or (for proposed new buildings and structures) Form 8.2(2) (when a unit or section is proposed for listing, for the purposes of determining whether a property is eligible for the historical marker program) or (for proposed additions to historic properties) In addition to complying with all the listing criteria, these properties must: Be listed on NPS's National Register of Historic Places; Be in National Register categories A, B, C or D, unless otherwise specified on the form; and Not be classified as Historic Property, Historic Landmark, Historic Site, or Other. Forms 3.2 and 3.
