The doctrines, operations concepts, and doctrine concepts identified in this joint publication will be used by commanders and leaders of all levels, from chief of staff levels to enlisted soldiers, to integrate forces and operate in the most integrated environment. This document will serve as the essential reference for any commander or staff as they integrate forces into the integrated framework for planning, controlling, and conducting all elements of the unified, unified command as defined by the Air Force doctrine. INTRODUCTION This document provides a detailed discussion of the Joint Force Doctrine, providing the context by which the doctrinal process will be conducted. The doctrine is intended also to be an integral factor in the development of U.S. Air Force commands and other integrated Air Force entities through continual review. The doctrinal process will be used to refine the current command concepts, requirements, and doctrine to provide the command with a credible and sustainable force structure. The doctrinal process includes doctrinal development as part of the Air Doctrine Reviewing Process for the Unified U.S. Air Force. This document follows the Air Force DoD (DAF) process established by DAF and a joint requirement development process, which is used to develop and incorporate the Air Force Command and Control Frameworks (MCF).
