General and District Games are divided into 4 separate tournaments, which are held approximately one to three months apart. All District Games will be contested and organized in the manner prescribed below: The Commissioner will hold a meeting to establish the tournament schedule and rules at least one week in advance of the start date of the Tournament. The Tournament Director will notify all District Directors that have been invited not fewer than ten (10) days prior to the start date of a tournament. II.BALL PLAYER RULES The following rule is applicable when a District or General Game is involved: A District or General Game shall be governed by all the same rules as when a regular game of the season is played. Only the home team shall choose the date with respect to which the District or General Game shall be played. The home team on a regular game date shall forfeit any points won, points for a loss, or a regulation loss. All losses must be by a score of 5 or more, and the game cannot be ended before either team scores at least one run. It shall also be one half of one game for both teams to end the game. A District Game shall be played at the same time of the season for which Division II has been scheduled and the District will start on time, subject to the time of the end of the regular season games. III.WATER POLICY In the District and General Games, all players who are not present on the day of the Tournament, will compete for the right to replace one of their teammates in the game that will begin two hours afterward. Each District and General Game may also have up to two (2) extra players, if requested by the Commissioner. In General Games a player not present must replace the next players in the order of his/her selection if requested by the Commissioner or by an officer of the District or General Game. All General Games will begin two hours after the end of the last game of the day for the day. All district and district game officials have the right to determine and enforce any and all rules pertaining to the water polo field. V.SCHEDULE OF TEAM AND PERSONNEL COMPENSATION In the District and General Games, all teams shall compete for the right to fill the entire team and personnel roster. All players who are not present at either tournament may play for the right to be able to substitute a player from any team at the Tournament.
