If the instructor has not been issued instructor certification under the Department of Commerce and Insurance's Training Program in Tennessee, the holder must apply to the Division for this training. Applicants who are enrolled in a continuing education course provided by the Division are required to pay in advance of course completion. The educational institution must provide copies(if available) of all student records that are used in the course. No course is valid unless all course materials remain on site at the time of completion of the course. The instructor must not transfer credit for the course from another institution. The course must be taught in an English-speaking environment. Course materials must be maintained by the instructor. A record of the course shall be taken by the student at the time of completion of the course. No course shall be used to satisfy more than one major requirement.
