The Inaugural Central Ohio “Wounded Warriors in Action” Charity Golf Tournament was held on August 29, 2015 at the Fox Fire Golf Course in Lockbourne, OH.
The tournament was originally scheduled to take place at the Players Club course but had to be changed due to weather cancellation.
The entry fee for the tournament was $100.00 per person or $400.00 per team.
The tournament format was a 4-Person Scramble.
The registration deadline for the tournament was August 22, 2015, and it was limited to the first 144 golfers (36 teams).
In addition to the golf tournament, there were additional contests including a $5,000 Hole-in-One contest, Straightest Drive, Longest Drive, Longest Putt, and Closest to Pin.
All proceeds from the tournament went to the WWIAF (Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation), a national non-profit organization dedicated to serving combat wounded Purple Heart recipients.
