For fiscal year 2008, the AGs requested 1,500,000 for the application submission portion of this program. Grant Eligibility Requirements Must submit the completed application on the due date and at the latest by five days following the request. It is the AG duty to have the documents submitted within the time stipulated in the regulations. Grant Eligibility Requirements Must provide a plan for implementing the program within the time specified. It is the AG's obligation to review proposed programs and provide assurance that programs are designed and implemented to achieve and maintain their respective goals, objectives or related priorities. Grant Eligibility Requirements The grants program provides assistance for crime victim compensation. A crime victim must be entitled to compensation for losses caused by a federally caused crime. The victim must also have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the NICE and BJS that she is eligible for compensation.
