Please note that a graduate degree from BYU–Hawaii is a requirement in order to apply for this scholarship in the same year the student matriculates. Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Juries Doctor, Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Musical Arts from an accredited institution of higher education with the intent of continuing their education at an accredited university or college. Must demonstrate eligibility through appropriate documentation and references. Must submit the following: Current academic transcripts for each term of enrollment, including the last 12 months; transcripts for the previous year (unless applying to be the scholarship recipient of a specific academic year); letter of recommendation from any institution, or other evidence that the individual is qualified for a scholarship; a written essay on the importance of pursuing a higher education; and two letters of recommendation from current BYU–Hawaii faculty, or current BYU–Hawaii students.
