Authorizes the holder to teach a single subject in a course that requires a minimum of one (1) week's enrollment and one (1) evening classroom lecture per week and in which the student is required to perform a minimum of ten (10) class instruction hours each week. Students with General Education Multiple Subject Teaching Permits may be permitted, as an exception to the requirements of Section 110.50, to enroll in the following types of courses: General Education courses (see list below) Courses that satisfy the Satisfactory/Superior Course Designation Section 110.25 Courses for credit completion in the following subjects: (1) all subject area units at the 50th percentile level or higher, (2) algebraic or statistics units with grade level scores of 75th percentile or higher, or (3) courses in English composition and composition in other subject areas. The application must include the following evidence of satisfactory completion, all grades included in the statement of satisfactory completion as of the date of submission of the application. Grade points earned: A grade point average score must be received as a passing score with a grade of “C” or better for courses of at least two hours of teaching time. A grade point average score of less than “C” must be received as a non-passing score with a grade of “D” or better for courses of less than two hours of teaching time. Students who have completed a high school degree from a regionally accredited college or universities with a minimum 4.0 grade point average must be included on the admission application, unless the admission application does not include a statement of achievement.  Satisfactory teaching experience: Any teacher approved for a General Education Multiple Subject or Teaching Permit may apply for a Satisfactory/Superior Teaching Application as an exception to the minimum standards for the specific course(s). Satisfactory/Superior teacher in a special education course will require an evaluation. The minimum grade point requirement in each Special Education Course is:  Grade Standard in Special Education Course Grades of C, D, F, and HE Grades of A, B, C(B), etc. (NOTE: Special Education Proficiency Test (S.E.T.) scores will NOT be used for this evaluation).
