How do you encrypt a PDF file?
Open the PDF and choose Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
How do I send an encrypted PDF?
At the bottom of the options window, enable to Encrypt the document with a password option and click OK. Enter the password you want to encrypt the PDF file with and then click OK. When you're done, enter a name for the PDF file and click the Publish button.
