What if I have more questions?
Click "File" from the "Final Draft" menu. Click "Print." The "Print Script" dialog box opens. Click "Print to PDF." The "Save As" dialog box appears. Type a name for the PDF of the script, and click a folder where you want to save the PDF file.
If you have non-alphanumeric characters in the file name, the file might not be exported as PDF. Make sure there are no commas, colons, slashes, ampersands or anything else that's not a plain letter or number. You can if necessary rename the PDF after it's been saved out of Final Draft.
Go to File > Print; On Windows, under the Print Range area, you'll see Character sides. From the Character sides dropdown menu or field, choose the name for which you want sides printed; From the Character sides dropdown menu or field, choose the name for which you want sides printed; Click Print.
Click "File" from the "Final Draft" menu. Click "Print." The "Print Script" dialog box opens. Click "Print to PDF." The "Save As" dialog box appears. Type a name for the PDF of the script, and click a folder where you want to save the PDF file. Click "OK" to save the script as a PDF file.
The screenwriting application Final Draft does not have the capability to import nor edit scripts saved as PDF files. It can, however, import PDF files that are already converted into the TXT (text) file format and then save them as FDX (Final Draft Document) files.
A script written in another screenwriting program or a regular word processing program can be exported as a text or RTF file, then imported into Final Draft. Final Draft will reformat the file as a feature screenplay. Double-click the text file to open it; When prompted, import it as a Script (or Screenplay).
