What if I have more questions?
Microsoft Edge comes with a built-in PDF reader that lets you open your local pdf files, online pdf files, or pdf files embedded in web pages. You can annotate these files with ink and highlighting.
Open Settings. Click on Apps. Click on Default apps. Click the Choose default app by file type option. Source: Windows Central. Click the current default app for the . pdf file format and select the app you want to make the new default.
To use the fillable form in Windows 10's Microsoft Edge, open the document and click on the three dots located at the upper right of the Browser. Select Open with Internet Explorer on the menu. You will now see the form with highlighted fields and have the ability to edit and save the document.
From now, Microsoft Edge will always download PDF file instead of opening them.
Scroll down to the link Choose default apps by file type and click it. Find the . pdf file extension on the left side. On the right side, select a application to open PDF files with (Microsoft Edge Dev in this example is what I am set at).
How to edit a PDF form using Microsoft Edge. Just open the PDF form, edit the fields and select the options using the drop-down menu as required. Then click the Save button in the top-right corner, or click the Save as button to keep a copy of the form.
