What if I have more questions?
Click Insert tab Import panel PDF Import. Find. In the Select PDF File dialog box, specify the PDF file that you want to import, and click Open. In the Import PDF dialog box: Specify the insertion point if prompted.
Click the Signature or Picture button to sign your document or insert an image. To edit the document itself, click the Add Fillable Fields tab on the right; there you will find our PDF editing tools whereby you can create checkboxes and editable fields for text, signatures, dates, images and information.
PDF underlays in drawings created with previous AutoCAD releases can be converted into editable drawing geometry using the PDFIMPORT command. Prior to AutoCAD 2017, it was not possible to convert a PDF file to a DWG file using AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT. PDF files could only be inserted as underlays (external references).
Click Insert tab Reference panel Attach. In the Select Reference File dialog box, select the PDF file you want to attach. Click Open. In the Attach PDF Underlay dialog box, select one page, or use SHIFT or CTRL to select multiple pages.
Open a new or existing drawing file. On the Application menu, choose Import PDF. Press Enter. Browse to and select the desired PDF file using the file dialog box that has appeared. Click Open. The Import PDF dialog box appears. Click OK.
To annotate your PDF document, click document annotation buttons and edit the document by highlighting, redacting or erasing any text or image. To edit your PDF further, click the 'Watermark' and the 'Versions' tabs on the right or the 'Pages' tab on the left.
