AUTHORITY TO APPLY AUTHORITIES (a) The Chief, Marketing and Registration Division, DTC?BC, 8725, John J. Kinsman Road, Suite 0944 (hereinafter referred to as the “Authority”) may issue orders and guidance within the Department's authority, to such persons, units, or organizations, or any combination thereof, and in connection with such matters and matters pertaining to an Information Assurance Program or an Acquisition Program or other matter specifically authorized by the DOD Chief, the Chief of the Army, or the Chief of Staff, as the Authority may determine, to carry out functions and duties as the Authority deems necessary to perform its purposes. (b) All orders and guidance issued in connection with the activities of the Authority shall be made publicly available on the Internet website of DTC?BC in electronic form and shall be posted within 24 hours after issuance. © All orders and guidance issued by the Authority may be amended, modified, or deleted from time to time, as the Authority deems necessary. (d) All orders and guidance issued by the Authority may be made available on the Internet website of DTC?BC for a maximum of two years, from the date of issuance, in one or more formats. (e) All orders and guidance issued by the Authority may be amended, modified, or deleted from time to time, as the Authority deems necessary. (f) All orders or guidance by the Authority granted to any federal, state, or local governmental entity, and all orders or guidance granting any private sector entity such authority, including the authority conferred by the Privacy Protection Act of 1974 (PPA) and the Information Disclosure Act (22 U.S.C. §§ 632A?5-2 et seq.), shall be published publicly for at least two years in one or more formats.
