Note that recommendations for graduate candidates need to be provided to the dean of graduate studies by 1 September. — student's name, undergraduate address and undergraduate major, graduate name and grade point average of any students applying for the same major (except for those applying for joint degrees), undergraduate name and grade point average of any students applying for degree conferral in the same program, and any course syllabi of any classes that students are requesting to be included in the petitions. — graduate institution for which the students are applying. — grade scale, in a format that will be accepted by the University. (Please note that grading scales vary from one school to another; a scale of A = 3.33, B = 3.33, C = 3.33, etc. is acceptable for University courses and may be used at colleges and universities.
